An insurance claim is complicated enough without carrying messages, estimates and repair questions between the body shop and the adjuster. Carolina Custom Paint & Body can manage the repair side of the claim directly with the carrier while keeping you informed.
We Work With Insurance Carriers
We are not limited to a preferred list of insurers. We can work with commercial fleet policies, motorcoach and bus claims, RV and motorhome policies, and other large-vehicle insurance claims.
From Initial Estimate Through Supplements
We can document visible damage, prepare estimates and photographs, communicate with the adjuster and work toward an agreed repair scope. If hidden damage is discovered after disassembly, we document it and handle the supplemental repair process with the carrier.
Your Repair Facility Matters
An insurer may recommend a repair facility, but customers should not assume that a suggested shop is the only option available to them. Large vehicles often require specialized space, equipment and experience. Review your policy and claim requirements, then choose a repair facility that is equipped for the vehicle and the work involved.
Customer-Pay Work at the Same Time
If the vehicle is already in the shop for covered collision damage, we can also quote unrelated repairs or refinishing you would like completed at the same time. Customer-pay work is kept separate from the covered insurance repair.
Payment and Deductibles
We can work directly with insurers on approved claims and payment arrangements when appropriate. The vehicle owner remains responsible for deductibles, customer-authorized additions and amounts not covered by the policy.
